UNC Health Foundation sends out a monthly email newsletter to donors and other stakeholders. The previous design had been cobbled together at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, and lasted the Foundation through many fundraising milestones. Once the current fundraising campaign ended in 2023, it was time to refresh the newsletter to reflect a new era in UNC Health Foundation’s fundraising goals.
Process
We refreshed the brand with a new name and graphics, changing it from New, Now, Next to Philanthropy Update. The new brand gives personality to the newsletter and its goal to highlight the impact of philanthropy through storytelling. We cleaned up the color palette, moving from the presence of the brand’s bright secondary color palette to a simple, clean and professional Carolina blue and navy.
Solution
The new design feels modern, clean and professional, delivering the latest philanthropy news from UNC Health Foundation efficiently. Built in Salesforce, it is accessible and optimized for viewing on all digital devices.
